The Italian Greyhound Club of Canada (IGCC) is the national breed club for Italian Greyhounds in Canada under the by-laws of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). Our purpose is the preservation and welfare of the Italian Greyhound breed through responsible breeding practices and the continuing education of both the IGCC members and the public.
IGCC membership comprises conformation, obedience, tracking, agility and coursing exhibitors, judges, breeders and owners, in addition to devoted pet fanciers. All members must abide by the Code of Ethics.
The IGCC also provides a rescue service for IGs in distress or in situations where there is no one (breeder or owner) willing to take responsibility for their care and rehoming.
